We want you to be happy with your 8Bit Posters order. This policy explains your cancellation, return, replacement and refund rights.
Change-of-mind returns
If you are a UK consumer, you may cancel your order within 14 days after the day you receive it. After telling us you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back.
Returned items should be kept in good condition and packaged carefully. You may inspect the item as you would in a shop, but we may reduce a refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless we agree otherwise.
Damaged, defective or incorrect orders
If your poster arrives damaged, defective, materially different from what you ordered, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@8bitposters.com with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging where relevant.
Where goods are faulty or not as described, your statutory rights apply. Depending on the circumstances, we will arrange an appropriate remedy such as a replacement, repair where appropriate, or refund. We will not require you to bear reasonable return costs where the goods are faulty or not as described.
Personalised or custom-made items
If we offer products made to your personal specification or clearly personalised, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to those items. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
How to request a return
Before sending anything back, email orders@8bitposters.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide the appropriate return instructions. Please do not send products directly to a Gelato production facility or to an address found on the parcel unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Refunds
For an eligible cancellation, we will refund the amount due using the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will be made within the time required by applicable consumer law. Any optional premium delivery amount above the least expensive standard delivery option we offered is not required to be refunded.
Exchanges
If you would prefer a replacement for an eligible damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us and we will explain the available options.
International orders
Customers outside the UK may have additional mandatory consumer rights under the laws that apply where they live. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
